Students at Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Crown Heights created their own Shofars before Rosh Hashana at a Shofar factory by Rabbi Michoel Albukerk.

For the sixth consecutive year, a remarkable Semicha celebration was held at the Beis Midrash of Colel Ohel Yosef Moshe in Buenos Aires, Argentina last Thursday night.

Thousands of anash and bochurim packed 770 at the conclusion of Rosh Hashana for a farbrengen, during which a niggun from each of the Rebbeim was sung, followed by all the niggunim of the Rebbe.

Anash gathered in the Rebbe’s Shul in Paris on Erev Rosh Hashana for the final selichos and shacharis of 5783, and to recite hataras nedarim. They also celebrated Hanochas Tefillin of a young shliach.

Well over 1,000 bochurim, anash, and a number of shluchim spent Rosh Hashanah at the Rebbe’s Ohel, where they spent 48 hours davening, learning and doing mivtzoim.

At the conclusion of shacharis on Erev Rosh Hashana, 770’s main shul was cleared out to allow it to be set up for the many thousands who will be coming for the tefillos of Rosh Hashana.

The streets and shops of Crown Heights were full on Friday as residents and thousands of guests prepared to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.
