Born assimilated in USSR, Professor Yirmiyahu Branover AH describes his journey from atheism to Chassidus, his underground Chabad connections in Communist Russia, dramatic personal miracles with the Rebbe, his mission building Jewish infrastructure for the mass Russian aliyah, the Rebbe’s impossible scientific knowledge, as well as the Rebbe’s prophetic vision regarding the fall of the Soviet Union.

A community-wide event in Alaska brought together prominent government officials, over a dozen organizations, and residents from across the region to hear about the Rebbe and his message on education, morality, and what it means to live a meaningful life.

Israel’s Chief Rabbi Harav David Yosef called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog to join U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent public call for Jewish Americans to keep Shabbos. “If a non-Jew so greatly honors our religion and calls to rest on Shabbos, all the more so we, the Jews, who have the the precious gift called Shabbos Kodesh,” he said.

Hundreds of Jews in Alma-Ata joined a Lag B’omer parade from the Levi Yitzchak Shul to the Ohel of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, where a pan was read on behalf of the community and the Rebbe’s shluchim across Kazakhstan.

For nearly 30 years, the Lubavitch Yeshiva of Toronto has trained and empowered young bochurim who go on to serve as shluchim and mechanchim to Jewish communities around the world. But their impact is not limited to distant locations. Every day, these students are transforming lives right here in Toronto.

Despite heavy forecasts predicting rain throughout the day, hundreds of children and community members from Toronto enjoyed a vibrant Lag BaOmer parade and rally under clear skies, with floats, clowns, activities, and more, as the weather remarkably held off until the very end.
