As soon as Yom Kippur concluded, bochurim joined the Zirkind family in building the Rebbe’s sukka in the garden in front of 770 Eastern Parkway.

Thousands attended Yom Kippur minyonim in over 30 shuls across Moscow, with the largest minyan taking place in Marina Roscha shul with Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar. The fast concluded with Napoleon’s March, havdala and a break-fast.

Well over 1,000 anash and bochurim spent Yom Kippur at the Rebbe’s Ohel, with many braving the rain to daven outside in proximity to the Ohel.

On Thursday night, a grand Seder Sichos for English-speaking bochurim was held in 770, with more than 300 Tmimim participating. The bochurim learned the Sicha of Birkas HaBanim of 5750, which fell on and discusses the Kvius of this year.

The Lubavitcher community of Paris, France, gathered on Motzei Shabbos and through the night to perform the custom of kaparos, overseen by Shliach Rabbi Levi Sabag.

Anash families of Brownsville gathered late Motzei Shabbos to perform Kaparos bringing the ancient custom back to the area after 8 decades.

R’ Dovid Krasnjanski, who was advised by the Rebbe to serve as an engineer for the US Navy in Philadelphia, and who was known for his love of learning, passed away. Levaya and shiva on Erev Yom Kippur.

At the young age of 27 years old, shliach Rabbi Shimmy Hershkovitz of Ofakim passed away, leaving behind a young wife and a one-year-old toddler. His family needs our support.
