Australian Boys Celebrate Chanukah During Summer Camp

In the midst of Australia’s summer heat, the boys’ division of Camp Gan Israel Melbourne celebrated Chanukah in a spirited camp atmosphere. With over 300 boys in the senior division and 80 in the junior division, the nightly menorah lighting was a highlight of the camp’s activities.

Stamford Hill Giant Menorah Lighting Draws Over 1,200 People

The 5th annual Giant Menorah Lighting in Stamford Hill took place on the 6th night of Chanukah, and set a new record with over 1,200 attendees of all ages. The Menorah was designed by artist Yitzchok Moully who also led an interactive art piece called “An Overflowing Dreidel.”
