The region, known as the “California of Europe,” attracts over 5 million tourists annually, hundreds of Israeli expats, and more than 100,000 international retirees, making it one of Europe’s most popular retirement havens.

Mrs. Gittel Karp, originally from Crown Heights, passed away today, Yud Daled Kislev, in Yerushalayim. Her levaya will take place in Eretz Yisroel, and shiva will begin in Crown Heights on Tuesday.
