A Lithuanian-born Jewish Cubist sculptor, Mr. Jacques (Chayim Yaakov) Lipchitz grew up in a frum household, but started dwindling while studying art in France. In 1959, after recovering through the Rebbe’s bracha, he visited the Rebbe and developed a lifelong relationship with the Rebbe.

Golders Green Menorah Celebrating 40 Years of Light

40 years ago, Dr. and Mrs. Weinbaum of London initiated a public menorah in the Golders Green section of London, faithfully driving the cherry picker each year to prepare the nightly lighting. Like Family: Menny’s 120 Sibiling Take Part in His Upshernish

Affectionately known as the “father of orphans in Ukraine,” Rabbi Avraham Wolff, Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Odessa, held a special upsherin for Menny, a three-year-old boy who has been lovingly raised in the orphanage over the past few years. As one big family, his 120 brothers and sisters at the orphanage happily joined in the celebration, dancing around him for several joyous minutes.

After losing his father in a tragic accident, Daniel Levine sought guidance from the Rebbe, who advised him to manage his family’s pharmacy while dedicating time to Torah study. Justice Served in Murder of Efraim Gordon in Baltimore

Justice has been served in the case of Efraim Gordon, who was fatally shot in May 2021 during an attempted carjacking outside his relatives’ home in northwest Baltimore. Efraim was walking home after his cousin’s wedding when he was attacked by teens in a stolen car committing armed robberies. The perpetrators were convicted of first-degree murder, with one sentenced to life in prison.
