Shloshim to Remember Beloved Crown Heights Pediatrician
A shloshim gathering for beloved longtime Crown Heights pediatrician, Dr. Asher Plaut a”h, will be held this Thursday, 27 Tishrei, in Crown Heights.
A shloshim marking the passing of Dr. Asher (Allan) Plaut a”h, the beloved longtime pediatrician who cared for generations of Crown Heights families, will be held Thursday evening at Beis Rivkah.
For more than four decades, Dr. Plaut maintained his pediatric practice on Kingston Avenue, becoming a familiar and trusted figure in Crown Heights. Generations of local children passed through his office, where he was known for his dedicated medical care and the personal connection he formed with his patients and their families.
The shloshim will take place Thursday, 27 Tishrei, at 7:30 p.m. at Beis Rivkah, 470 Lefferts Avenue, and is open to men and women.
Family, friends, patients and community members are also invited to submit memories and stories of Dr. Plaut, which the family plans to collect for a book in his memory.
