An online shloshim memorial will pay tribute to the life and legacy of Rabbi Yisroel Rapoport, beloved shliach to Vineland, NJ, addressed by family, colleagues and friends.
Rabbi Rapoport, better known as “Raps” or “Bubby” to his many friends and his admirers, served as the shliach and Rabbi of rabbi of Congregation Sons of Jacob in Vineland, N.J. He was known as beloved rabbi who was “always reaching out to others with bubbling enthusiasm and love.”
Addressing the shloshim will be shluchim, colleagues and friends, including some of the California shluchim with whom we worked alongside to build up Chabad presence in the Conejo Valley.
Emceeing the event will be Rabbi Mayer Green, youth director at Chabad of the Valley. Sharing memories, stories and paying tribute to Rabbi Rapoport will be Rabbi Moshe Herson, Head Shliach to New Jersey, Rabbi Moshe Bryski, director of Chabad of the Conejo in Agoura Hills, CA, Rabbi Yitzchak Sapochinsky, shliach to Westlake Village, CA, Rabbi Yaakov Tuvia Rapoport, shliach to Syracuse, NY, and Rabbi Avi Richler, shliach to Gloucester County, NJ.
A siyum will be made by R’ Tani Rapaport.
