Just in time for Chai Elul, a new children’s book was published telling the story of the Baal Shem Tov for children, and teaching them the lesson he learned as a orphaned young child.
“Young children face their fears daily. Fear of the dark, fear of going too high on the swing, fear of loud noises or of going to sleep in their own room,” publishers said. “What better way to calm and reassure the children in your life than with a true story of one of our greatest leaders and teachers?”

Yisrolik’s father imparted a message to his only son that he spread far and wide, a message that informed his entire life and that inspires others to this very day: “I won’t be scared. Oh, no, I won’t! Hashem is always near. I know Hashem is with me, and there’s nothing else to fear.”

In honor of Chai Elul , Here in New Orleans, we had a book reading of this beautiful new book on zoom today.
It was so enjoy by many children here and the parents felt it had a deep message For all of us these days.
The author’s sister created a great program introducing the book and then singing a Chai Elul song after dramatically reading it. Very valuable addition to any library.
