Mrs. Faigy Bassman, a beloved member of the Chabad community in Chicago, IL. passed away on Friday, 29 Tammuz, 5781.
Mrs. Faigy Bassman, a beloved member of the Chabad community in Chicago, IL. passed away after an extended illness.
Mrs. Bassman served an an elder care advocate and taught cooking and conducted music programs for elders around Chicago.
She is survived by her husband Yaakov Bassman and their children: Betzalel Bassman, Leah Emmer, Yossi Bassman, Moshe Bassman, Rochel Meyer, Malkie Bassman, Tzemmy Bassman, Chana Bassman, and grandchildren.
The levaya will be held graveside at Waldheim Jewish Cemetery, 1300 South Des Plaines Avenue, at 2:00 PM CT.
Shiva will be sat at the Bassman Residence, 2856 West Estes, Chicago, Illinois 60645.
