Menorah Lights Up Eiffel Tower

The City of Light celebrated the first night of Chanuka with a Menorah lighting at the base of the Eiffel Tower, attended by the Chief Rabbi and Mayor of Paris.

The City of Light celebrated the first night of Chanuka with a Menorah lighting at the base of the Eiffel Tower, one of Europe’s most iconic landmarks.

The giant menorah lighting was arranged by Head Shliach to Paris Rabbi Mendel Azimov, and the event was graced with the presence of the Chief Rabbi of Paris, an Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, and other community leaders and dignitaries.

The entire event was broadcast live by satellite to the Kosel in Yerushalayim and the Rebbe’s room in NY.
