As the Israeli Army continues its reconquest of the Gaza Strip, a Lubavitcher soldier in the IDF printed an edition of Tanya in an area that will hopefully be a new Jewish settlement in Gaza.

The printing was inspired by the Rebbe’s directives to Rabbi Leibel Kaplan during the First Lebanon War to print the Tanya in Lebanon. The Rebbe’s instructions were quite specific, that the Tanya should be printed in as least three Lebanese cities that once had thriving Jewish populations, and which were currently occupied by the IDF.

The Tanya was printed on Thursday by the IDF soldier Yisrael Yakubov with printing equipment of the well-known printer Rabbi Ezer Ben Ephraim who takes care of printing Tanyas all over Eretz Yisroel.
