After months of planning and preparation, organizers are placing the finishing touches on the Florida Kinus Shluchim taking place in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, on Chof Av.
The Kinus will mark the yahrzeit of Reb Levi Yitzchok, father of the Rebbe, on Chof Av, as well as give the shluchim a chance to rejuvenate, meet with fellow shluchim and be inspired at workshops, lectures and farbrengens.
The shluchim left Monday night on a chartered plane from Miami International Airport. Joining them were many baal habatim from Florida and from New York who rebooked after the JFK flight was canceled.
