The yearly Lag B’omer celebration at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim of Napierville was an extra-special one this year, with an upshernish and Tanya printing joining the regular carnival and bonfire.
As the yearly tradition goes, YTTL Or Menachem Napierville together with Centre 770 held a Lag Ba’omer celebration and bonfire. People traveled an hour from Montreal to Napierville to join this celebration.
The children enjoyed a full spectrum of programs which included horse and pony rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, zip lining, and most importantly, a Tahalucha Parade going to the street. The adults enjoyed the Bar-B-Q, Divrei Torah and took good Hachalotos.
David and Sarah Tanami were zoche with lighting the bonfire.
There were beautiful raffles with various pictures of the Rebbe at the Lag Ba’omer parades.
There was also a special edition of the Tanya printed. After the bonfire was lit, an upshernish was held.
