On Erev Pesach, Ilana Bluming, a vibrant young mother of five, including a three-week-old newborn, suffered a devastating stroke.
It was a moment that should have been filled with warmth and anticipation. Erev Pesach, with families around the world preparing for the Seder. But in one Crown Heights home, the joy turned into heartbreak.
Ilana Bluming, a vibrant young mother of five, including a three-week-old newborn, suddenly suffered a devastating stroke.
Just days earlier, she had been cradling her infant son. Now, she fights to recover, as her husband, Rabbi Avrohom Bluming, is left to shoulder the immense burden of caring for the family, physically and emotionally.
This young family needs us—urgently.
Baruch Hashem, there is hope. Doctors are optimistic, but the path to recovery is long and costly. The family is in desperate need of:
- Full-time infant and childcare
- Household assistance
- Medical and therapy support for Ilana’s rehabilitation
- Emotional support for the children
- Ongoing expenses that continue to rise
These are the days of Sefiras HaOmer, a time of cultivating Ahavas Yisroel. There is no better moment to demonstrate real, tangible care.
Every donation helps. Every share matters. Every tefillah counts.
Let’s bring back hope. Let’s carry this family through the storm.
