A large number of visitors traveled to the town of Lubavitch to mark the birthday of the Rebbe Mahrash on Beis Iyar.

In the past days, the town prepared for a large number of visitors, who came to daven by the Ohel, and visit the chotzer of the Rebbeim and the town’s other holy places. The visitors got to see the newly build guest houses, as well as the Tomchei Tmimim zal, which is in the process of being rebuilt.

Shliach to Lubavitch Rabbi Gavriel Gorodon said that they had prepared for a number of groups, and events and farbrengen were held throughout the day.

Groups traveled from across Russia to visit Lubavitch, including a few groups of bochuri, and a group led by Rabbi Itche Kogan, known as “the Tzadik of Leningrad.”

Just ahead of Beis Iyar, the historic Shul bordering the Ohel got an upgrade, with one-of-a-kind paroches, which was created especially for the shul and pays tribute to the two Rebbeim buried just feet away.
