For more than 15 years, the Vaad Hatmimim has worked to provide accommodations for over 1,000 bochurim who travel from Eretz Yisroel to spend the month of Tishrei in New York.

The accommodations are an essential part of the Vaad’s extensive Tishrei operation, giving the bochurim a stable and welcoming place to stay while they immerse themselves in the unique experience of the month: learning, davening, participating in farbrengens, and drawing inspiration that they will carry home with them.

This year, with even more bochurim expected to arrive, the Vaad is looking to expand and significantly upgrade its accommodations.

The goal is to secure additional spaces that can provide the bochurim with suitable, respectable accommodations throughout their stay.

Providing accommodations for such a large number of guests is a major undertaking, and the Vaad is now turning to the community for help.

Anyone who knows of houses, buildings, facilities, or other suitable spaces that may be available during Tishrei is asked to contact the Vaad. Property owners, community leaders, and anyone with a potentially helpful lead are encouraged to reach out.

Together, we can ensure that every bochur has a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, with the peace of mind to focus on what he came to New York to do: learn, daven, and experience the inspiration of Tishrei.
