As the hundreds of guests who spent the month of Tishrei by the Rebbe prepare to head home, they gathered for in 770 for a grand farbrengen and Tseischem L’Shalom.
At the end of the gathering, Eshel director Rabbi Mendel Hendel held a raffle for two dollars received from the Rebbe, donated by the family of Rabbi Mottel Chein a”h, who was one of the directors of Eshel in recent years.
The lottery for the first dollar was held among the 1188 donors to the charity of the organization this year, and the lottery for the second dollar was held among all the guests who were privileged to come this year despite the challenges.
