In honor of Yud Alef Nissan, thousands of bochurim from across Eretz Yisroel converged on the central Tomchei Temimim campus in Kfar Chabad for a packed two-day program combining learning, farbrengens, multimedia presentations, and mivtzoim, coordinated by Vaad Talmidei Hatemimim.
The event began on Yud Nissan, as hundreds of bochurim arrived at the yeshiva campus for a full schedule that started with a shiur from noted lecturer Rabbi Schneur Ashkenazi on the topic of Moshiach and Geulah, followed by an engaging lecture by Rabbi Shmuel Raskin, who explained how to approach learning Gemara like unraveling a mystery.
Later that afternoon, the bochurim took a comprehensive test on the material they had learned during the Bein Hazmanim Yeshiva program. From there, organized transportation brought them to a central seudas mitzvah and farbrengen held in Beis Zlata in Kfar Chabad Beis, attended by over 1,000 bochurim.
The program included a screening of a multimedia presentation by JEM featuring rare videos of the Rebbe and testimonies from prominent mashpi’im and rabbonim on the value of learning Chassidus, nigleh, and Chitas.
Keynote speaker, Rabbi Ezra Schochet, Rosh Yeshiva of Ohr Elchanan Chabad in Los Angeles, delivered a powerful talk about what it truly means to be a tomim and the need for strong hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
The night wrapped up with energetic dancing to the Rebbe’s new kapitel, followed by a wave of farbrengens back at the main yeshiva campus. Over a dozen mashpi’im from different yeshivos led farbrengens that stretched deep into the night.
On the morning of Yud Alef Nissan, despite the late night, the bochurim woke up early for mikvah and a special seder Chassidus. After Shacharis and writing panim, they spread out to participate in Mivtza Tefillin and distribute specially-produced materials to thousands of Jews.
The two-day event concluded with a fascinating panel discussion on the farbrengen of Yud Alef Nissan 5742, the Rebbe’s eightieth birthday, featuring individuals who had the privilege of being in the Rebbe’s presence that year. This was followed by a viewing of the full 5742 farbrengen video, with many bochurim staying late into the night to watch the Rebbe’s sichos.
