The girls from second through eighth grade in Nigri Shluchim Online School of the Shluchim Office gave out over 200 Matzahs around the world as part of a pre-Pesach “Mission Matzah”.
“Mission Matzah was amazing,” said Chaya Jacobson from Punta Gorda, Florida. “It was so special to see the happiness on people’s faces when we came to give them Matzah!”
Before Pesach, the girls were challenged to give out 120 total Matzahs in honor of the Rebbe’s 120th birthday. The aim was to reach out and inspire Jews in their own communities on Shlichus. The students took the program to the next level giving out a total of over 200 Matzahs, forging many new connections and giving so many Jews the opportunity to have Shmurah Matzah.
“I had so much fun going out and meeting new people,” said Zelda Greenberg from Wichita, Kansas. “Mostly everyone who I gave out Matzah to I didn’t know. Now I know more people than ever, more than when I gave out Shalach Manos!”
Special thanks to Bnos Chabad extra curricular heads Doba Brikman and Chana Kosofsky, led by associate director Morah Devora Leah Notik for organizing and running the beautiful program.
The Nigri International Shluchim Online School is a project of the Shluchim Office.
