Shluchim, Anash, and Tmimim gathered on Thursday afternoon at Chabad Carmel Valley for the first Kinus Torah ever held in S. Diego, CA, arranged by Rabbi Mendel Polichenco, and Hatomim Levi Yitzchok Polichenco.

Rabbi Polichenco gave the opening remarks and spoke about the importance of Kinusei Torah.

Rabbi Yisroel Dinerman, Shliach at Chabad Hebrew Academy, S. Diego, spoke about why we read about Pesach Sheini on Pesach.

Rabbi Reuven Bochurberg, visiting from Montreal, spoke about transcending your own limitations.

Hatomim Dovid Ezagui, shliach in LA Jolla, explained why it’s always possible, and therefore our obligation, to improve the current situation.

Hatomim Mendy Smoller, Shliach in Scripps Ranch, CA, expounded on the daily portion of Talmud Sotah and “sur mera vaase tov”, going away from evil and doing good.

Rabbi Yair Yellin, Shliach in S. Marcos, CA spoke about the connection between Sotah and Pesach.

All attendees left inspired and uplifted by the words of Torah. We pray that this is the first of many, and we fulfill our Shlichus of bringing Moshiach NOW!
