Rebbe’s 120th Birthday Marked at Prestigious Manhattan Synagogue

A celebration marking the Rebbe’s 120th birthday took place at the world-famous Park East Synagogue in Manhattan with speakers including host Rabbi Arthur Schneier and Sen. Joseph Lieberman.

A celebration marking the Rebbe‘s 120th birthday took place at the world-famous Park East Synagogue in Manhattan, hosted by the synagogue and addressed by renowned speakers.

Over 100 Chabad shluchim from the New York City area joined the event together with members of their respective congregations.

Billed as an evening exploring the life and legacy of the Rebbe, the event took place ahead of the Rebbe’s 120th birthday on Yud Alef Nissan this year, and focused on the Rebbe’s impact on countless individuals alongside his global impact.

Addressing the evening were host Rabbi Arthur Schneier, leader of the Park East Synagogue, former Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman and Rabbi Simon Jacobson, all of whom merited extensive guidance from and interaction with the Rebbe.

A number of shluchim also spoke, and the evening was accompanied by a musical program by singer Eli Marcus.
