Hundreds of Anash and Bochurim gathered in 770 Monday night for a farbrengen celebrating 80 years since the arrival of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin to the shores of the United States, escaping the horrors of war-torn Europe and settling in “the lower hemisphere – chatzi kadur hatachton”.
The farbrengen was addressed by Harav Yosef Yeshaya Braun, member of Crown Heights Beis Din, Rabbi Aharon Ginsburg, shliach to Boro Park, Rabbi Nissim Lagziel, mashpia in Oholei Torah, Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht, shliach in Connecticut, and Rabbi Reuven Matusof, shliach in France. The MC was Rabbi Sholom Schapiro.
