Rabbi Abba Piekarski, a Crown Heights resident who taught at Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway for many years, passed away Friday, 3 Teves, 5781.

Rabbi Abba Piekarski, a Crown Heights resident who taught at Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway for many years, passed away Friday, 3 Teves, 5781.

He was 72 years old.

He is survived by his wife Rivky, and children Chanoch – Bogota, Colombia (Whatsapp 57 310 569 8692), Yossi – Crown Heights, Efraim – Morristown, NJ, Sholom Ber – Crown Heights, Mendy – Crown Heights,  Yehoshua – Crown Heights, Sruli – Crown Heights, Hillel – Paris, France (33 6 51 73 57 51), Sara Hurwitz – Crown Heights, Yankel – Crown Heights, and Yechiel Michel – Crown Heights.

He is also survived by his siblings Rabbi Zisel Piekarski – Crown Heights, Rabbi Ephraim Piekarski – Crown Heights, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Piekarski, Tel Aviv, Mrs. Rochel Rubin – Albany, NY, Mrs. Sarah Marzel Tzfas.

The levaya will pass by 770 at 12:15.

    Father who loved his children

    Had endless Patience for those who needed help.
    Always had a kind word to say to others
    Mekarev Yidded to Yiddishkeit.
    Everyone around him felt accepted.
