Students from the girls division of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School of the Shluchim Office have been receiving special packages in the mail as they gear up for their annual Day of Celebration.
Every year, the students of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School eagerly await the annual Day of Celebration event where they get to finally meet their teachers, classmates and friends in person. The girls who are spread around the world on Shlichus rarely get to spend quality time with friends, Shluchos like them and always look forward to this special day.
“Being that this year, the Day of Celebration will be held virtually, we wanted to offer the girls something extra, something exceptionally exciting and meaningful,” shared associate director, Morah Devora Leah Notik. “The mailed gifts, complete with personalized school sweaters, beautiful craft supplies, delicious treats and so many more surprises bring a special feeling of excitement and anticipation. What a joy!”
“I loved getting the day of celebration package, it made me feel so special,” said 7th grade student, Mushka Haller. “I am so excited for this year’s Day of Celebration!”
An impressive, lively program is planned and the girls have much to look forward to. The celebration promises to feature presentations from each class, interactive activities, games, arts and crafts and guest star performances.
“This year was our daughter Chana’s turn to follow in the footsteps of her older siblings and get to travel to the Kinus, she was looking forward to finally getting to meet her classmates in real life,” wrote Shlucha, Mrs. Shterna Lewis, Shlucha to Brighton, England. “As she opened and unpacked her special Day of Celebration package, joy was spread all over her face, the thoughtfulness and creativity in the package is really special. She is now enthusiastically awaiting the ‘not-so-regular’ Zoom, thank you, thank you!”
