6th-Grade class of Nigri International Shluchim Online School hosts their annual production from their own home computers
Through song and drama, 6th grade Shluchos from across the world seamlessly wove their mics, cameras and backdrops to keep a virtual audience spellbound, sharing their technical and artistic talent in song, dance and wordplay. Each was in their own corner of the world, at their home computer, and together they brought us the magic of a virtual production titled “Diamonds in the Dust.”
“We are all over the world, and our students made a first-rate production from their homes,” explained Morah Devora Leah Notik, Associate Director of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School. “Our goal with the annual production is to offer each student a chance to share her talent, shine and give in a unique way. As Shluchos in faraway communities, the show, with its meaningful message of Jewish strength and pride, has a tremendous lasting impact on the girls and their fellow school friends; empowering them individually and connecting them world-wide. ”
“I wanted to thank you so much for cheering us on, correcting our mistakes, and working so hard to make that production look so alive!” said student Sara Goldberg from Mexico, “Thank you for all you do.”
This, and more appreciation was expressed to Tzeite Raichik, extra-curricular programming director, for directing the girls and working with them to produce this memorable show.
Thank you to the parents of the students for helping to make this long-distance performance a huge success, and to the 6th grade teachers, Morah Raichik, Morah Horowitz, and Morah Lezell for their tremendous dedication, encouragement and warmth.
