In honor of the 50th anniversary of the 12 Pesukim, Tzivos Hashem has released a new set of materials designed to help children and adults connect to the 12 Pesukim in a more personal, practical, and memorable way.
The new collection includes three pieces: a pull-out pen, a pocket-sized card that fits easily into a wallet or pocket, and a matching poster. Each one presents the 12 Pesukim in a format children can carry, keep, and live with.
The highlight of these materials is the specific one-liner message developed for each Pasuk. Based on extensive research into the Rebbe’s Sichos on the 12 Pesukim, each one is meant to bring out the message of the Pasuk in a short, clear, and personal way. The goal is to help children feel that the Pesukim are not only words to recite, but words that speak to their lives.
“These are not just more giveaways,” said Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive director of Tzivos Hashem. “The Rebbe placed tremendous emphasis on the 12 Pesukim because they are meant to shape a child. We wanted to create something that helps reveal the message inside the Pesukim in a way children can actually relate to.”
Each item was created with a specific use in mind: The pull-out pen gives children something interactive they can use and be reminded of the pesukim during the day. The card can be kept in a pocket or wallet and pulled out easily, making it easy to review the Pesukim on the go. The poster gives classrooms, mosdos, and homes a way to keep the Pesukim visible and present in the environment.
More than just prizes, these materials are meant to help parents and mechanchim turn the 12 Pesukim from familiar words into something alive, relatable, and real for the children in their care.
