The main Yeshiva Ketana of Tomchei Temimim in Moscow opened the new Elul zman with expanded facilities, upgrades throughout the campus and an enlarged teaching staff.

The yeshiva is located on the educational campus in Istra, outside Moscow. Following bein hazmanim and weeks of preparations, the talmidim returned to the yeshiva and resumed their regular schedule of learning.

The talmidim and their parents were welcomed by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Moshe Lerman, campus director Rabbi Yosef Moshe Weisberg, and yeshiva director Rabbi Chaim Moshe Weber.

Ahead of the new year, renovations were carried out to expand the yeshiva and allow it to accommodate additional talmidim. The yeshiva also increased its focus on the senior shiur, with additional attention being given to preparing the talmidim for their transition to Yeshiva Gedolah next year.

The staff was expanded with the addition of Rabbi Yosef Edrei, son-in-law of orphanage director Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gol. Rabbi Edrei will serve as Rosh Mesivta and mashpia for Shiur Alef, guiding the new talmidim as they begin their years in yeshiva.

The yeshiva was established by Chief Rabbi of Russia Rabbi Berel Lazar and operates alongside the other Chabad yeshivos in Moscow.

With the new zman underway, the talmidim have begun their full schedule of Nigleh and Chassidus, learning from early morning through the evening.
