A special farbrengen took place Wednesday night in 770 celebrating the launch of the new sefer “Dvar Malchus – Chidushim U’biurim Behilchos Melochim”.
The new sefer, compiled by Menachem Mendel Ezagui, collects all the Rebbe’s explanations on the last two perokim of Rambam, which explain the halachos of Moshiach. The sefer is a result of three years of work by Ezagui, a bochur from Crown Heights. Over the past years, he spent hundreds of hours collecting each explanation from the Rebbe’s sichos, ma’marim, letters, and even footnotes in Likkutei Sichos, and arranging them into an encyclopedia-style work of the Rebbe’s extensive explanations on the Rambam’s halachos describing Moshiach and Geulah.
The farbrengen was addressed by many senior mashpiim who spoke about the importance of learning about Moshiach and Geula in the Rebbe’s Torah. Speakers included Rabbi Nachman Shapiro, Rabbi Michoel Golomb, Rabbi Shmuel Bluming, Reb Sholom Charitonov, Reb Avrohom Garlitzky, Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, Rabbi Sholom Zirkind, Rabbi Sholom Shapiro, and others.
The sefer was also sold at a discounted price during the duration of the farbrengen.
