London Chassidim Pack Sukkah for Six-Hour Simchas Beis Hashoeiva
Hundreds of Chassidim from across London joined a lively Simchas Beis Hashoeiva farbrengen with guest mashpia Rabbi Shia Rabinovitch, Rosh Yeshivah in Berlin, with crowds remaining for close to six hours.
Hundreds of Chassidim from across London packed into a small sukkah on Chol Hamoed Sukkos for a lively Simchas Beis Hashoeiva farbrengen.
In accordance with the Rebbe’s instruction to hold Simchas Beis Hashoeiva every night of Sukkos and to spread the joy of Sukkos outward to all Yidden, the farbrengen was open to Chassidim from across London, together with the many guests who came for Yom Tov.
Rabbi Shia Rabinovitch, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Berlin and formerly a mashgiach in Tomchei Temimim Antwerp, was the guest mashpia. Known for his clarity and depth in Nigleh and Chassidus and his passion for darchei hachassidus and avodas Hashem, Rabbi Rabinovitch is a sought-after mashpia who regularly inspires Anash and bochurim.
With people constantly coming in and out of the packed sukkah, the crowd remained for close to six hours, listening to words of Chassidus and practical guidance in avodas Hashem.
Rabbi Rabinovitch, who is also a talented baal menagen, led the crowd in a variety of chassidishe niggunim, adding to the unique atmosphere of the farbrengen.
The farbrengen continued into the early hours of the morning, with the large crowd leaving uplifted and inspired from the memorable evening.
