To end off a year of amazing programs at Friendship Circle, FC treated the Boys Division volunteers to an end-of-year barbeque. The dedicated volunteers use their one-hour dinner break to attend Friendship Circle programs, no matter what else is going on.

As one FC parent noted, “M is used to having girls come for Friends at Home. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go with Bochurim this year, changing what he is used to, the visit would be at a later hour and all the general concerns that come along with any changes to my sons routine. M loves being part of the boys division this year, and especially loves his volunteers! The late hour doesn’t bother him at all. We are so grateful to be part of Friendship Circle!”

At the barbeque, the boys took turns speaking about what their experience at Friendship Circle meant to them and how much they loved volunteering. The evening ended with niggunim around the bonfire, and receiving their FC sweaters. We are looking forward to working with our incredible volunteers next year!

Big thanks to Tzvi Gewirtz, director of the Boys Division, for all the time and effort he put into this event, and to all the boys programs year-round!
