Enable a Kallah to Arrive at Her Chuppah in Dignity
During these days of Elul, Chodesh Harachamim Vehaselichos, please help a kallah take care of many basic expenses we’d all wish a Kallah to have.
With Hashem’s help, we’d like to give you a little glimpse into the dire situation in which our sister and friend, the Kallah, finds herself, which you can help ease and allow her to build her new home with simchah.
When she was a young girl, her family moved to Eretz Yisroel and, Baruch Hashem, she integrated well into the schools and seminaries. For her parents, immigrant Baalei Teshuvah, it is a bigger challenge to merge into the new society. Both work hard in order to pay rent and put bread on the table. Additionally, there are other elements that make it a tough task to be able to support the family.
Baruch Hashem, she has become a Kallah, and the wedding, B’ezras Hashem, is scheduled for just after the Tishrei Yomim Tovim. Thankfully, her parents have already married off a few of her siblings, which practically means that providing monetarily to marry her off is beyond their capacity.
The wedding is quickly approaching, and she still hasn’t been able to get and take care of many basic expenses we’d all wish a Kallah to have, such as the wedding hall, sheitel, wedding gown, gifts for the Chosson, basic dowry items like linen, wardrobe, household utensils, and appliances, etc. Almost all the preparations must be done before the end of Elul.
Since her immediate family is not of the means to support the financial expenses for the upcoming wedding, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to do all we can to invite her extended family -Klal Yisroel- to take part in the simcha. For this, we’ve opened a Charidy Campaign where you can take part by donating and sharing with friends and family.
Every bit of participation on your part, whether monetary or sharing the campaign with your friends, eases the burden and agmas nefesh the Kallah and her family shouldn’t need to go through and brings great joy to the Kallah, her family, Hashem, and future generations! Whatever you can do to add to her simcha is greatly appreciated by her and her family.
Wishing you a Ksivah Vachasimah Tovah, for a good and sweet year, and all the Brachos in the Torah promised for this great Mitzvah. May we merit that soon Klal Yisroel won’t need to ask each other for support since “the goodness will be bestowed bountifully”! Thanks a lot and Mazal Tov!!!
