After two successful years, the JCM summer community event has become a special tradition for local families. The Jewish Children’s Museum’s Kids’ Art Festival is back for a third year, bringing an afternoon of creativity, excitement, and family fun to the JCM Plaza!

·       FREE event sponsored by the Museum featuring crafts, sensory play, active play and ices!

With Elul and Tishrei in the air, this year’s Kids’ Art Festival will be Rosh Hashana themed, and the plaza will come alive with hands-on activities where children create, explore, play, and let their imaginations take the lead. Activities will include crafts, playdough, bubble play, kids race track, and jumping.

Young artists will design their own colorful fans, use tissue paper art to decorate beautiful apple suncatchers, and create their own unique pomegranate to become part of a collaborative community mural.

The festival also offers plenty of opportunities for sensory and active play. Children will enjoy playing with bubbles, squishy, sculptable playdough, a kids race track, and jumping tires. Kids’ Art Festival will create an afternoon filled with movement, discovery, and plenty of smiles.
