The bochurim of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Moscow gathered this week for a special ceremony marking the conclusion of a year-long Mivtza Torah, celebrating the dedication and achievements of the bochurim who devoted themselves to increasing their learning of Nigleh and Chassidus.

Throughout the year, the talmidim participated in an extensive learning program that encouraged consistency, diligence, and growth in Torah study. As a reward for their accomplishments, the top participants received mehudar sets of both Rashi and Rabbeinu Tam tefillin.

The tefillin were generously donated by philanthropist Reb Yehuda Davidov, head of Keren 770, who sponsored the special gift in support of the young Chayolei Beis Dovid.

The event was attended by the hanhala of the yeshiva, rabbonim, shluchim, and members of the staff. Leading the gathering was the yeshiva’s director, Rabbi Yechezkel Lazar, who oversees the continued growth of the mosad.

A special farbrengen was led by Rabbi Shimon Krasdomsky, director of the Chabad House in Moscow’s Michurinsky neighborhood, who inspired the bochurim about the tremendous zechus of dedicating their lives to Torah learning and bringing its light to the world.

The event was arranged by the talmidim hashluchim of the yeshiva, the oldest yeshiva gedolah in Russia, which continues to see tremendous growth and expansion.

The event came to a close with a festive seudas mitzvah and lively farbrengen, with the bochurim joining together in niggunim and saying l’chaim, strengthening their commitment to continue growing in their learning and avodas Hashem.
