A group of men dancing outside 770 is considered a normal sight. But for a group this past Friday, it was indicative of a revolution of Yiddishkeit taking place in the Austrian capital.

The dancing men were a group of over 40 men who had traveled from Vienna to spend Shabbos by the Rebbe. The Vienna Shabbos by the Rebbe began before coronavirus, and took place for 3 consecutive years before the global pandemic forced it to pause. This year, they were finally able to resume the annual trips.

More than just a once-a-year event, the trip is a window into the revolution taking place in Vienna, where countless Yidden are being connected to their Yiddishkeit, and thousands are being brought close to Chassidus Chabad and to the Rebbe.

The group was led by shliach Rabbi Yisroel Netanelov, head of the Community Center Beth Halevi – Chabad in Vienna, and arranged by Pinni Gdilov and Dudi Neimark.
