Rabbi Levi and Chana Sputz, along with their son Pinny, will be moving on Shlichus to Reno, Nevada to establish the Chabad Learning Center of Northern Nevada.

Known as “The Biggest Little City in the World”, Reno often tops lists of the best small cities in America. With the pandemic, the sun-drenched town at the foot of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains has seen tremendous growth in the last few years, as people have looked for quieter, more family-friendly areas to live in. With the increase of the population, the time has come to increase adult-focused education in the area.

The Sputzs were appointed by head Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin and regional director of Chabad of Northern Nevada Rabbi Mendel Cunin to address this need and establish the Chabad Learning Center.

The new Center will bring the world-renowned JLI courses to the entire Northern Nevada region. The Sputzs will also offer one-on-one learning opportunities and a full array of classes and Torah study groups.

Rabbi Levi and Chana both have extensive backgrounds working in communities large and small and are excited to bring their knowledge and experience to the beautiful Northern Nevada area.
