After an incredibly successful teachers training, Chabad Early Childhood is offering a free Tu B’Shvat resource for all preschool directors and teachers.

This week, Chabad Early Childhood of the Shluchim Office hosted their first in-person teachers training event. Chabad Early Childhood is the international network supporting Chabad preschools on Shlichus with curriculum resources, teacher training, and more.

The program hosted teachers from the Tri-State area in person and from around the world via Zoom joined a professional development course to advance their skills and discover new techniques to implement into their preschool classes.

“It was such an enjoyable and educational event, I really gained a lot,” said Mrs. Chaya Eliav, Shlucha to Chabad of Clinton Hill. “I loved how hands-on everything was and I feel like I really learnt new ideas and activities to bring into my classroom.”

The first session was led by art therapist Mrs. Mackenzie Stroh followed by an interactive botanic infused dye workshop led by CEC Director Mrs. Rivky Baitelman. The teachers enjoyed a beautiful lunch before the closing presentation by RIE (resources for infants and toddlers) associate and psychoanalyst Dr. Christina Cohen

In honor of Tu B’Shvat, Chabad Early Childhood is offering a FREE resource to all those in Chinuch. This resource includes instructions and inspiration from the botanic infused dye workshop.

“After such incredible feedback from the event, we are excited to offer this resource which is so fun for all ages and is being used by Shluchos globally at family events,” shared Mrs. Rivky Baitelman. “Extracting natural dye develops sensory skills, fine motor skills and practical life skills, as well as art, math and science, making it the perfect addition to Tu B’Shvat learning!”
