Camp Gan Israel Florida Overnight is continuing its tradition of redefining what an overnight experience is all about, making the dreams of campers come true. Their beautiful 20-acre campsite located in Lake Worth, Florida is the perfect setting for girls to spend a fun-filled and stimulating summer.
Their facility hosts an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a lake with canoes, basketball, and volleyball courts as well as a ropes course. All buildings and bunks are climate-controlled and centrally air-conditioned. Delicious, healthy and nutritious meals will be catered by Chef Nissen Pewzner.
At camp, girls enjoy a broad range of exciting trips and activities which are sure to appeal to all campers with varying interests. A dance head to lead a unique dance program, and a drama head to direct thecamp production has joined the camps staff. The addition of a director for the creative arts program will enable the campers to explore working with different art mediums.
Camp Gan Israel Florida Overnight is world-renowned for its attention to the entire child. Their success is because of the talented team of dynamic and passionate staff, who guide and care for our campers throughout the summer. With an emphasis on each camper’s individual needs, staff strive to provide each girl with a warm, chassidishe camp experience. The CGI Florida culture is infused with the spirit of Ahavas Yisroel, and as such, each camper knows that she counts and is cared for by staff and fellow campers alike.
The Learning Curriculum is geared to stimulate involvement and imagination. There are weekly game shows and hands-on projects. With Rebbe videos, an innovative Tzivos Hashem Program, and daily Ahavas Yisroel awards, the campers learn the true importance and significance of what it means to be a Bas Chabad by living it each day.
The camp is led by Executive Directors Rabbi Yosef Y. and Mrs. Bayla Biston, Mrs. Shira Wajsbort, Director and Rabbi Eli Wajsbort, Camp Rabbi.
