Busy Shabbos and Farbrengen at the Ohel to Mark Hei Teves

Thousands of Bochurim, Shluchim, and Anash are expected at the Ohel this Shabbos in preparation for the special day and will be joined by many notable Mashpiim and Shluchim who will be delivering Shiurim and Farbrenging for the public.

This Motzei Shabbos and Sunday we will be celebrating Hei Teves – 37 years! We all remember or heard of the tremendous pain the entire ordeal with the Seforim caused the Rebbe, and the tremendous Simcha on Hei Teves, following the verdict. On that very day, the Rebbe spoke about the victory in the context of “Vatechi Ruach Yaakov Avihem,” and the next year, 5748, he established Hei Teves as “a Yom Segula and Eis Ratzon.”

To help Chassidim celebrate the day, a beautiful program and Chassidishe Farbrengen, arranged by Vaad Or Vechom Hahiskashrus, will take place near the Rebbe’s Ohel at 9:00 pm on Motzei Shabbos. The warm Farbrengen will be addressed by Rabbi Yosef Greenberg and Rabbi Shmaya Shmotkin.

To enable Chassidim to join in the celebration from anywhere in the world, a special broadcast will be accessible at Chabad.org/OrVechom. Buses to the Ohel for Shabbos and Motzei Shabbos will also be provided by Bustoohel.com.

To prepare for the day, Or Vechom also launched a four-part video series explaining the story of the trial and the timeless lessons we can learn from it.
