Tragedy in Israel: A 15-year-old Lubavitcher bochur from Kiryat Malachi was killed in a car accident on Friday afternoon while returning home from Mivtzoim.

A 15-year-old Lubavitcher bochur from Kiryat Malachi was killed in a car accident on Friday afternoon while returning home from Mivtzoim.

The bochur was walking near the entrance to Kiryat Malachi, after returning from mivtzoim when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Hatzalah rescuers who were called to the scene performed CPR on him, but sadly he passed away.

Chezi Rosenbaum, a medic from Ichud Hatzla, said: “According to passers-by, the boy was walking when he was hit by a car. I performed CPR on him with the help of other medics.”

Boaz Sharon, Deputy Head of the Rescue Union branch in Kiryat Malachi, who participated in the resuscitation operations, added: “We performed prolonged resuscitation operations on him. Unfortunately, at the end of the resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead due to the nature of the severe injuries he suffered.”

The bochur’s name has not yet been released.
