After over two months hospitalized in Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey and in critical condition due to coronavirus, beloved Crown Heights educator Rabbi Levi Goldstein came home today.

Over the past months, thousands worldwide davened for Rabbi Goldstein, who was one of the first severe cases among the frum communities in New York.

Just a few days ago, a video showed Rabbi Goldstein off the ventilator and singing his trademark song of trust in Hashem. Today, he was finally discharged from the hospital on the way home.

As he exited the hospital, family members and friends gathered around to greet him. His son said the bracha of “shehechiyanu” and joyus music was played.

Addressing those gathered, Rabbi Goldstein relayed a special request.

“In my zechus, and in the zechus of all those who need a refuah shleima, I ask that everyone take on one additional thing in Yiddishkeit, it doesnt matter what,” he said.
