An incredible 650 bochurim from across 22 American Yeshivas passed the first test of the Halikut program, in which bochurim learn and memorize a full volume of Likkutei Sichos.
The Halikut program is an unprecedented program, with bochurim in 22 American Yeshivas learning and reviewing the Sichos in their free time.
“The Mivtzah is causing a tremendous Koch in the Rebbe’s sichos,” says Meir Lazaroff, shliach in Ohlei Torah Zal, who describes bochurim, “sitting in the dining room discussing the sichos.”
“The bochurim studied hard,” says Dovid Dworcan, shliach in New Haven Mesivta, “and those who passed were really proud of how well they learned and understood the Sichos.”
After the first test on Cheilek Chof this Sunday, the 650 bochurim that passed will take an additional two tests over the next few months, enabling them to take part in the Halikut Siyum where they will be tested on the full sefer at once.
