Yeshivas Kayitz Explores Organic Farming, Coffee Growing

Bochurim in Yeshivas Kayitz Panama created unforgettable memories this week with a trip to a coffee bean field, organic farms, milk and cheese making, honeybee, and butterfly tour.

The third week of Yeshivas Kayitz Panama started off with a short hike with spectacular views, the group learned Chassidus on top of the mountain. After winding down back, bochurim engaged in another original woodworking activity.

Daily siyumim were held on each of the Nine Days in order to infuse the days of mourning with permissible simcha, in addition to the ongoing learning Sedarim throughout the week.

Among some of the outings: the pipeline trail, coffee tour, and cupping experience, milking cows and cheese making, organic and non-organic farms, bread baking, honey tour, and butterfly tour.

After an exciting Shabbos with local residents and tourists, Tishah B’av set in and concluded a full week of learning, adventure, and new experiences.
