Multiple Crown Heights Gemara shiurim gathered Wednesday night for a Siyum on Mesechta Sukka, held in memory of the Rebbe’s brother R’ Dovber Schneerson hy”d, whose yahrzeit is marked on 25 Elul.
The siyum will also commemorate the auspicious day of 25 Elul, the day the world was created, and as the Gemara says Breishis meaning reishis as the world was created for the Torah.
The siyum featured addresses by Rabbi Fischel Oster on the Rebbe’s Hadran on Maseches Sukkah, and Rabbi Mendel Yuzewitz on his visit to the resting place of the Rebbe’s brother and his life.
