Widows Honored with Evening of Strength and Sisterhood
Hundreds of women gathered for an uplifting evening honoring widows, featuring inspiring messages, heartfelt stories, and a celebration of the strength, faith, and sisterhood that help transform loss into resilience.
Hundreds of women participated last Wednesday in the prestigious annual dinner of the “Niflaot Giborot” organization, held at Beis Zlata Hall in Kfar Chabad in support of widows in their senior years.
Niflaot Giborot is an empowering initiative and community under the leadership of Mrs. Miri Schneerson of Kfar Chabad, dedicated to supporting, accompanying, and honoring widowed women. The organization provides a warm and welcoming home, support networks, nationwide events, and a strong sense of belonging, helping women transform loss into a source of strength, resilience, and inspiration.
The event, which marks the opening of the organization’s annual fundraising campaign, featured a festive dinner and an uplifting musical program.
The keynote address was delivered by Rabbi Shneor Ashkenazi, who deeply moved the audience as he shared personal stories about his connection with his widowed mother, alongside heartfelt words of encouragement and faith.
Throughout the evening, participants also heard inspiring stories from women who supported the organization’s activities and merited to see blessings and salvations.
The women, seated around elegantly arranged tables, enjoyed a lavish dinner and joyful musical performances featuring leading Chassidic singers.
