Now for the fifth year, a group of about 50 men from the community of Beit Halevi in Austria traveled to New York to spend a week by the Rebbe.
The Vienna Shabbos by the Rebbe began before the coronavirus and took place for 3 consecutive years before the global pandemic forced it to pause. Post-corona, they were finally able to resume the annual trips.
More than just a once-a-year event, the trip is a window into the revolution taking place in Vienna, where countless Yidden are being connected to their Yiddishkeit, and thousands are being brought close to Chassidus Chabad and to the Rebbe.
More than once members of the group saw miracles. One participant shared “My wife and I have not had children for 6 years. Last year I went with Rabbi Yisroel Netanelov to the Ohel to ask for a blessing for the children.”
I was apprehensive whether and how the Rebbe would answer but within 9 months we had twins! The Rebbe finds a way to answer,” he shared excitedly.
The group was led by shliach Rabbi Yisroel Netanelov, head of the Community Center Beth Halevi – Chabad in Vienna, and arranged by Pinni Gdilov and Dudi Neimark.
