Dovid does okay reading words on a Kriah word sheet, but he finds reading pesukim in a sefer very difficult. He makes many mistakes and loses focus after a minute or two of reading.

What can be done?

Dina can read short words well, but when she tries reading longer words, she gets choppy and makes mistakes. While reading, she’ll often self-correct or make up a word that sounds similar to the one she’s trying to read.
