After expressing the hope that the coming of Moshiach would render Hatzalah’s services unnecessary, the Rebbe famously implored the public to generously donate to the noble cause of Hatzalah.
When Crown Heights Hatzlah rushes to a patient and gauges what equipment, gear, and/or medications will be needed, money indeed is never a factor. Whatever it takes to bring the best possible treatment is the only option. Hatzalah never considers the cost.
In a sichah, after expressing the hope that the coming of Moshiach would render Hatzalah’s services unnecessary, the Rebbe famously implored the public to generously donate to the noble cause of Hatzalah: “Being that Hatzalah is such a crucial organization, for “one who saves one Jewish life is considered to have saved the entire world … we must find ways to collect money for the cause. In this country, it is customary to make … an “appeal” to generate publicity and get everyone involved and to participate…” (Likkutei Sichos vol. 26, p. 393).
Thanks to the generosity of the Crown Heights and wider Anash community, funds have Baruch Hashem always been available to do the utmost to ensure any patient receives any and all available resources for healing.
As Crown Heights Hatzalah comes to an end of their annual campaign, they are relying on you to step up to be able to continue their vital work for the many individuals of the rapidly growing Crown Heights community KA”H and the many thousands of visitors it receives each year.
