This Chanukah, more than 200 cars of Anash and Bochrim from Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad took to the streets of Los Angeles, bringing the joy and light of Chanukah to the local community.

The parade included representatives from the local fire department and Hatzala, as well as ten stretch hummers, scores of luxury sport cars, pickup trucks fixed with large glowing menorahs, and a double decker bus. In all, the motorcade extended more than half a mile.

As the menorah-topped cars cruised through the central streets of Melrose, Fairfax, and Beverly, hundreds of people came out from the surrounding stores and restaurants to watch the procession. The Bochrim eagerly distributed over 400 menorahs and doughnuts to the bystanders, while the kids encouraged from the cars waving the glow sticks they received and enjoying their own doughnuts.

The parade, one of the largest in America, was organized by the YOEC Zal Shluchim with the generous support of the community, and was a great display of Jewish pride.
