This year, hundreds of teachers who are registered with Igud Hamelamdim, received discounted school supplies for their children ahead of the new school year. Supplies such as backpacks, folders, crayons, markers, glue and more were provided at a reduced rates in appreciation of the teachers’ work.
“Our teachers do so much for our children,” Igud Hamelamdim’s director Rabbi Avrohom Bluming told Anash.org. “It is our honor to show them some gratitude through financial bonuses and gifts in partnership with the Chasdei Lev organization.”
The school supplies initiative, introduced this year, is in addition to the regular Tishrei and Pesach order including over $3000 worth of food and household items at a fraction of the price. The new project is a gesture of appreciation to our teachers to ease their school shopping in recognition of their phenomenal devotion and care they give to our children.
